SF New Developments is starting a new series of blog posts with a weekly update on properties sold in specific neighborhoods and buildings around the Bay Area. Here’s our first installment, covering property sales in San Jose, featuring Climb Real Estate agent Lisa Lyons‘ sale of a condo at new development Axis in downtown San Jose.

Lisa Lyons represented the seller of 38 N. Almaden Boulevard #2109, which sold for $937,500 (co-listed with Polaris Pacific) and had the record highest price per square foot for the building. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is in San Jose’s premier high-rise condo building, Axis, and featured expansive views and 2-car parking.

Two weeks ago Lisa also sold a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo in the building with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony that overlooks the courtyard. 38 N. Almaden Blvd. #718 sold for $620,000.

Building amenities at Axis include concierge service, a pool and spas, large barbecue areas and an outdoor dining area, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Axis is walking distance to top Bay Area companies, dining and amenities including San Pedro Square Marketplace and has easy access to freeways 280 and 101 and Caltrain.

Lisa’s previous sales in the building include:

  • #1123: 2 bedrooms plus den, 2 bathrooms, 1,502 sq. ft., sold for $849,000 in November 2013 (co-listed with Polaris Pacific)
  • #1106: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 970 sq. ft., sold for $435,000 in November 2013 (co-listed with Polaris Pacific)
  • #800: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1,312 sq. ft., sold for $663,000 in September 2013

Not yet on the market is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo at The 88, another high-rise new development building in downtown San Jose. 88 East San Fernando Street #808 will include 2-car parking and a full suite of luxury amenities and is expected on the market on February 6th.
